One Minor is required based on the interest of the students and his/her committee, ideally within the human oriented social sciences areas.
An MS student must complete a satisfactory MS thesis. The student will take the MS final exam upon completion of all requirements for the degree but no earlier than one month before completion of the minimum registration unit requirement. This oral exam covers the topic of the master’s thesis.
